HMRC have issued new rules which have encouraged small firms to carry out Research and Development work, for which they get 13% tax relief.

Making Tax Digital

Phase 1 was introduced in April of this year, and those who registered on the new postal will find that it works. Phase 2, the quarterly returns of profit was due to start in April 2020, but thanks to BREXIT it has been deferred until 2021.

Quickbooks and Xero are both MTD compliant.
